Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons lime zest
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup lemon-lime soda (like 7-Up)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, lemon zest, lime zest, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add flour mixture to the creamed mixture alternately with lemon-lime soda, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
- Pour batter into the prepared Bundt pan.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
