Italian Stromboli is a mouthwatering twist on classic pizza that combines layers of savory deli meats, melted cheese, and a buttery garlic topping, all wrapped in a golden, crispy crust. Perfect for a hearty dinner or a fun party appetizer, this Stromboli is as delicious as it is satisfying.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tube of Pillsbury pizza crust
  • 8 slices of deli ham
  • 10 slices of Genoa salami
  • 12 slices of sandwich pepperoni
  • 8 slices of provolone cheese or mozzarella (shredded cheese can also be used)
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons of chopped parsley
  • 3 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the pizza crust package.
  2. Prepare Garlic Butter: Melt the butter in the microwave, then mix in the minced garlic, parsley, and Parmesan cheese. Set aside.
  3. Prepare Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Roll Out Dough: Stretch the pizza crust on the prepared baking sheet to almost the size of the sheet.
  5. Layer Ingredients: Begin layering the meats on the stretched crust starting with ham, followed by salami, and then pepperoni. Place the slices of cheese over the top of the meats.
  6. Roll Stromboli: Carefully roll the Stromboli lengthwise and ensure the seam is sealed well. Pinch and mold the ends of the dough to seal and tuck them under the Stromboli.
  7. Score and Butter: Score the top of the Stromboli a few times with a serrated knife to allow steam to escape during baking. Spread the garlic butter mixture over the top of the Stromboli.
  8. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for the same amount of time recommended for baking a pizza on the dough’s packaging, without par-baking.
  9. Serve: Let cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
