This Steak with Bourbon Garlic Cream Sauce is a true culinary delight that brings a touch of luxury to your dinner table. The perfectly seared steak, paired with a rich and velvety sauce, offers a harmonious blend of flavors that will leave your taste buds dancing.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Directions:

  1. Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set them aside to rest.
  3. In the same skillet, carefully add the bourbon. Let it simmer for 1-2 minutes, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  4. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Let the sauce simmer for 3-5 minutes, or until it thickens slightly.
  6. Add the butter to the sauce and stir until melted and smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
  7. Return the steaks to the skillet, spoon the sauce over the top, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to warm through.
  8. Serve the steaks hot, garnished with fresh parsley and more sauce on the side.
