These Strawberry Cream Cheese Rolls are a perfect blend of flaky, buttery dough, creamy cheese filling, and sweet bursts of fresh strawberries. Each bite is a delightful combination of softness and sweetness, with the tangy cream cheese perfectly complementing the juicy fruit.

  1. Ingredients:
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for drizzling)

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Arrange the dough in the prepared dish to form a circular pattern, overlapping the edges slightly.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent dough, leaving a small border along the edges.
  5. Sprinkle the finely chopped strawberries on top of the cream cheese layer.
  6. Carefully roll the dough triangles into pinwheels, starting from the wide end. Place the rolls back into the baking dish, making sure the edges are tucked in.
  7. Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and granulated sugar.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
  9. Drizzle the rolls with milk once they are out of the oven for extra creaminess and shine.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!
