This Christmas Breakfast Casserole is the ultimate holiday morning dish. Ingredients:

  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced green onion
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing)

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Add the cooked bacon, cheddar cheese, hash browns, red bell pepper, and green onion to the egg mixture. Stir to combine.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
