Ingredients:

  • 8 hard taco shells
  • 8 oz spaghetti noodles
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1/2 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups marinara or pasta sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish (optional)

Directions:

  1. Cook spaghetti noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté onion until soft. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add ground beef or sausage and cook until browned. Drain excess grease.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat with sauce.
  6. Warm taco shells according to package instructions.
  7. Carefully fill each taco shell with saucy spaghetti.
  8. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  9. Optional: place tacos on a baking sheet and broil for 2–3 minutes to melt the cheese.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve immediately.
