These Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Brownies are a delightful fusion of moist banana bread and rich chocolate brownies. Each bite offers the sweet, comforting taste of ripe bananas combined with the indulgent pleasure of melted chocolate chips.
Ingredients:
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 4 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 Tbsp milk
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease and flour a 15×10-inch jelly roll pan.
- Beat sugar, sour cream, butter, and eggs in a large bowl until creamy. Blend in mashed bananas and vanilla.
- Add flour, baking soda, and salt; blend for 1 minute. Stir in walnuts.
- Spread batter in the pan. Bake 20-25 minutes until golden.
- For frosting, heat butter over medium heat until boiling. Let it brown, then remove from heat.
- Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk to butter. Whisk until smooth.
- Spread frosting over warm bars.
