Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- ½ cup water
- 1 cup cooked Mexican rice (or Spanish rice)
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup nacho cheese sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 4 tablespoons butter, softened
- Optional: diced tomatoes, chopped lettuce, jalapeños, or crushed tortilla chips for extra crunch
Directions:
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water. Stir and simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Warm the tortillas in a microwave or skillet to make them pliable.
- Lay each tortilla flat and layer with beef, cooked rice, sour cream, nacho cheese, and shredded cheddar and mozzarella. Add optional toppings if desired.
- Fold in the sides and roll tightly into burritos.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Spread butter on the outside of each burrito.
