  1. Cajun Honey Butter Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter and stir in honey, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon fillets skin-side down and sear for 2-3 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  4. Brush the honey butter mixture generously over the salmon fillets.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from the oven and drizzle with lemon juice. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
