This dish brings together tender cheese tortellini, savory beef steak, and a luscious provolone cheese sauce for a meal that’s both creamy and satisfying. Ingredients:
- 1 package cheese tortellini
- 1 lb thinly sliced beef steak (ribeye or sirloin)
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
Instructions:
- Cook the Tortellini: Cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the Beef: In a large skillet, sauté the thinly sliced beef steak over medium heat until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the onion and green bell pepper. Sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes to form a roux. Gradually whisk in the milk, cooking until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes. Stir in the shredded provolone cheese until melted and smooth.
- Combine: Add the cooked tortellini, sautéed beef, onion, and green bell pepper to the sauce. Stir to combine and heat through.
- Serve: Serve hot and enjoy!
