This Cheesy Beef Taco Pasta is a hearty and comforting dish that combines the flavors of tacos with creamy pasta. Perfect for a family dinner!
Ingredients:
- 3 pounds ground beef
- 1 box small pasta shells
- 1 block Velveeta cheese
- 1 handful sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 packs taco seasoning
- 1 can original Rotel
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions:
- Cook the Ground Beef:
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat and set the beef aside.
- Cook the Pasta:
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the small pasta shells and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
- Melt the Cheese:
- In the same skillet you used to cook the beef, add the Velveeta cheese (cut into cubes) and milk. Stir continuously over low heat until the cheese is completely melted and smooth.
- Combine Ingredients:
- Add the cooked pasta shells and browned ground beef to the melted cheese in the skillet. Mix until everything is well combined.
- Season:
- Add the taco seasoning packs and the can of Rotel (undrained) to the mixture. Stir well to ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed.
- Add Cheddar Cheese:
- Sprinkle a handful of sharp cheddar cheese over the pasta mixture. Stir until the cheese is melted and fully incorporated.
- Serve:
