Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup buttermilk

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • ¼ teaspoon salt
For the Cinnamon Swirl:
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
For the Glaze:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  3. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; add to the creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared bundt pan. Mix the cinnamon and sugar for the swirl together and sprinkle over the batter in the pan.
  5. Pour the remaining batter over the cinnamon swirl layer.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
