Cinnamon French Toast Bubble Up is the perfect combination of gooey, cinnamon-infused biscuit dough baked into a deliciously sweet, fluffy casserole. Ingredients:
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup maple syrup
- Powdered sugar (optional, for serving)
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.
- Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and layer them in the prepared baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the biscuit pieces in the dish.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the casserole.
