Each bite offers a warm, comforting texture that’s perfect for brunch or any special breakfast occasion. The golden brown exterior and soft, pillowy inside make this dish an instant family favorite.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • Powdered sugar (optional, for serving)

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.
  2. Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and layer them in the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the biscuit pieces in the dish.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the casserole.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the casserole is puffed up, golden brown, and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and drizzle with maple syrup. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
