Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup crab meat, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon zest from 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add milk and mix until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in cheddar cheese and crab meat.
  6. Drop by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Mix melted butter, garlic powder, parsley, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
  9. Brush this mixture over warm biscuits.
  10. Serve with lemon wedges.
