  1. Ingredients:
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish (optional)

Directions:

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. While the pasta cooks, season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, basil, and oregano.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet, let rest for 5 minutes, then slice into strips.

  8. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy sauce.
