Ingredients:

  • 1 Medium PKG. of softened Philly cream-cheese.
  • Two crescent roll tubes.
  • 1/2 C. of regular white sugar.
  • 1/4 C. of light brown sugar.
  • 2 TBSP. of melted butter.
  • 1 TSP. of lemon juice.
  • 1 TSP. of pure vanilla extract​​.

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350℉.
  2. Mix cream cheese, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and white sugar until well combined.
  3. Open crescent roll tubes and slice them thickly.
  4. Layer each slice on a parchment-lined baking sheet, forming a small wall around the outside.
  5. Combine melted butter and light brown sugar; brush over each Danish.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes at 350°F until golden brown.
  7. Let cool, then add a touch of glaze.
  8. For glaze: mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract, then drizzle over warm Danishes​​.
