Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 small onion, finely diced
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup diced dill pickles
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
- Oil for frying
Directions:
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned and cooked through. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in garlic powder, salt, pepper, ketchup, and mustard. Mix well and remove from heat.
- Let mixture cool slightly, then stir in shredded cheese and diced pickles.
- Lay out an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with one corner pointing toward you. Place 2 tablespoons of filling in the center.
- Fold the bottom point over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly. Brush top corner with beaten egg to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C). Fry egg rolls in batches for 3–4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with burger sauce, ketchup, or your favorite dipping sauce.
