Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 2 cans (14.5 oz each) tomato sauce
  • 2 cans (14.5 oz each) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 box dry uncooked macaroni
  • 1 cup frozen peas
Directions:
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until brown.
  2. Add onions and peppers; cook until tender.
  3. Transfer to a 6-quart slow cooker.
  4. Add garlic, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and beef broth. Stir well.
  5. Cover and cook on high for 3.5 hours.
  6. Cook macaroni as directed on the box, 1 hour before serving.
  7. Stir in the cooked pasta and frozen peas 30 minutes before serving. Cover and let sit.
  8. Garnish and serve.
