These Easy Peach Dumplings are a simple yet delightful dessert, offering the perfect combination of flaky crescent roll dough and juicy, cinnamon-coated peaches. The sugar and cinnamon topping gives them a warm, comforting sweetness, making them perfect for any occasion. Paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of caramel, they are a crowd-pleasing treat.
Ingredients:
- 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 large peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup unsweetened peach juice (or water)
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (for garnish)
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
- Place 2-3 slices of peach in the center of each crescent roll triangle and roll it up, folding the edges over the peaches.
- Arrange the dumplings in the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the dumplings.
- Pour the peach juice (or water) and melted butter over the dumplings.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar over the top of the dumplings for an extra touch of sweetness.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the dumplings are golden brown and bubbly.
