The sugar and cinnamon topping gives them a warm, comforting sweetness, making them perfect for any occasion. Paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of caramel, they are a crowd-pleasing treat.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 large peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup unsweetened peach juice (or water)
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (for garnish)

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  3. Place 2-3 slices of peach in the center of each crescent roll triangle and roll it up, folding the edges over the peaches.
  4. Arrange the dumplings in the prepared baking dish.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the dumplings.
  6. Pour the peach juice (or water) and melted butter over the dumplings.
  7. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the top of the dumplings for an extra touch of sweetness.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the dumplings are golden brown and bubbly.
