Ingredients:
- 8 slices thick-cut bread (Italian or sourdough works best)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for heat
Directions:
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic, parsley, and garlic powder until well combined.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture generously on one side of each bread slice.
- Heat a large non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Place 4 slices of bread, buttered side down, on the skillet.
