Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 carrot, finely grated
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 30 lumpia wrappers
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Sweet chili sauce, for serving
Directions:
- In a large bowl, combine ground pork, carrot, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of the pork mixture onto each lumpia wrapper. Fold the wrapper over the filling, roll tightly, then seal the edges with water.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the lumpia in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with sweet chili sauce for dipping.
