Ingredients:

For the Dough:

  • 1 cup warm milk (110°F / 45°C)
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons (1 packet) active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour

For the Filling:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • 8 slices cooked bacon, chopped

For the Maple Glaze:

  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 2–3 tablespoons milk (as needed for consistency)
  • Pinch of salt

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.

  3. Transfer to a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

  5. Spread softened butter over the surface. Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg, then sprinkle over butter. Top evenly with chopped bacon.
  6. Roll up the dough tightly from the long side and slice into 12 equal rolls.
  7. Place rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Cover and let rise for another 30–45 minutes.
