- 2 ¼ teaspoons (1 packet) active dry yeast

- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
For the Filling:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
- 8 slices cooked bacon, chopped
For the Maple Glaze:
- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 2–3 tablespoons milk (as needed for consistency)
- Pinch of salt
Directions:
- In a large bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- Add melted butter, eggs, and salt. Mix in flour one cup at a time until dough forms. Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth.
- Transfer to a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Roll dough out into a large rectangle (about 12×18 inches).
