These Creamy Vanilla Dream Puffs are a delightful twist on a classic dessert. Each puff is a perfect combination of light, airy pastry and rich, creamy vanilla filling that tantalizes your taste buds. Ingredients:
- 1 stick butter (8 Tablespoons)
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 1c flour
- 1 pint heavy cream
- 1 package (3.4 OUNCES) instant vanilla pudding
- ⅓ cup milk
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Bring butter, water, and vanilla to a boil in a saucepan.
- Add flour and stir constantly until it forms a ball and leaves the side of the pot. Remove from heat and cool.
- Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
- Drop tablespoons of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and puffed. Let cool.
- For the filling, beat heavy cream, vanilla pudding powder, and milk until thick like whipped cream.
- Slice puffs in half, pipe or scoop in the cream filling, and dust with powdered sugar.
