Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz noodles (lo mein or spaghetti)
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Optional: green onions or sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions:
- Cook the Noodles: Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce and brown sugar. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Cook the Ground Beef: In a large pan, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Break the beef into smaller pieces as it cooks.
- Add Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the ground beef and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Mix in the Sauce: Pour the soy sauce and brown sugar mixture into the pan with the ground beef. Stir well to coat the beef evenly with the sauce.
- Combine with Noodles: Add the cooked noodles to the pan with the ground beef and sauce. Toss everything together until the noodles are well coated with the sauce.
- Serve: Serve the Mongolian Inspired Ground Beef Noodles hot, garnished with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
