This Coconut Chocolate Delight is a true treat for the senses, combining the rich, indulgent flavors of chocolate with the tropical sweetness of coconut. It’s a decadent cake that promises to be a crowd-pleaser, perfect for any celebration or simply as a delightful end to a meal.
Ingredients:
- 1 box white or yellow cake mix
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup chocolate syrup
- 8 oz. tub Cool Whip
- 2 cups shredded coconut
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Prepare the cake mix as per package instructions, then add cocoa powder and sugar, blending well.
- Pour the cake mixture into the baking dish and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 30 minutes, then remove from oven and poke holes in the cake with a fork.
- Warm the chocolate syrup and pour over the hot cake. Cover and let it cool overnight.
- For the frosting, mix whipped cream and shredded coconut together, then spread over the cooled cake.
- Chill the cake before serving.
