This Coconut Chocolate Delight is a true treat for the senses, combining the rich, indulgent flavors of chocolate with the tropical sweetness of coconut. It’s a decadent cake that promises to be a crowd-pleaser, perfect for any celebration or simply as a delightful end to a meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 box white or yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup
  • 8 oz. tub Cool Whip
  • 2 cups shredded coconut

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare the cake mix as per package instructions, then add cocoa powder and sugar, blending well.
  3. Pour the cake mixture into the baking dish and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove from oven and poke holes in the cake with a fork.
  5. Warm the chocolate syrup and pour over the hot cake. Cover and let it cool overnight.
  6. For the frosting, mix whipped cream and shredded coconut together, then spread over the cooled cake.
  7. Chill the cake before serving.
