These Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Bell Peppers are a harmonious blend of classic comfort food with a healthy twist. The juicy, savory beef, combined with the soft, sweet bell peppers and melted mozzarella, creates a symphony of flavors in every bite.

Ingredients:

  • 3 Bell Peppers
  • 1 lb. Beef (Ground)
  • 8 oz. Mushrooms (Chopped)
  • 1 Onion (Chopped)
  • 2 tbsp. Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 8 oz. Mozzarella Cheese (Shredded)
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
Directions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the tops off of the peppers and remove the seeds.
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned and the onion is soft.
  • Add the chopped mushrooms and continue to sauté.
  • Stir in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, and pepper. Simmer until the liquid is nearly absorbed.
  • Stuff the peppers with the beef mixture and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
