These Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Bell Peppers are a harmonious blend of classic comfort food with a healthy twist. The juicy, savory beef, combined with the soft, sweet bell peppers and melted mozzarella, creates a symphony of flavors in every bite.
Ingredients:
- 3 Bell Peppers
- 1 lb. Beef (Ground)
- 8 oz. Mushrooms (Chopped)
- 1 Onion (Chopped)
- 2 tbsp. Ketchup
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- 8 oz. Mozzarella Cheese (Shredded)
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the tops off of the peppers and remove the seeds.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned and the onion is soft.
- Add the chopped mushrooms and continue to sauté.
- Stir in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, and pepper. Simmer until the liquid is nearly absorbed.
- Stuff the peppers with the beef mixture and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
