Pizza Bombs are a fun and delicious twist on classic pizza, packed with melted mozzarella and pepperoni, all wrapped up in soft, golden dough. These bite-sized treats are perfect for a snack, game day, or even a quick dinner.

  1. Ingredients:
    • 1 pack of refrigerated pizza dough (about 400g)
    • 100g pepperoni slices, chopped
    • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
    • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 egg, beaten (for brushing)
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for greasing)
    • 1/2 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C (170°C fan)/375°F and grease a baking sheet with olive oil or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut it into 12 equal pieces.
  3. Place a slice of chopped pepperoni and a tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese in the centre of each dough piece. Sprinkle with dried oregano and garlic powder.
  4. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling to form a ball, sealing the edges tightly.
  5. Arrange the pizza bombs on the prepared baking sheet, then brush them with the beaten egg to give them a golden finish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the pizza bombs are golden brown and the cheese is melted inside.
  7. While the pizza bombs bake, heat the marinara sauce in a small saucepan or microwave for dipping.
  8. Serve the pizza bombs warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
