Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature, cut into pieces
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Heat sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly with a rubber spatula.
  2. Once sugar is completely melted, immediately add the butter and whisk until completely melted, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Very slowly drizzle in heavy cream while whisking. Allow the mixture to boil for 1 minute.
  4. Remove from heat, stir in sea salt, and allow to cool down before pouring into a lined 8×8 inch pan.
  5. Freeze for 1-2 hours.
  6. Once set, cut into bite-sized pieces and dip each into melted dark chocolate. Allow to set on a parchment-lined tray.
