Ingredients:
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
- 1/2 lb lump crab meat
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and onion; sauté until translucent.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2 minutes. Stir in crab meat. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in milk and cream.
- Stir constantly until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes. Add Parmesan, salt, pepper, and Old Bay seasoning. Remove from heat.
- In a small bowl, mix ricotta, egg, and parsley.
- Spread a thin layer of cream sauce in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Layer 3 noodles, half the ricotta, half the seafood, 1/3 of the mozzarella, and more sauce. Repeat once more.
- Top with remaining noodles, sauce, and mozzarella.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
