This Classic Stove-Top Meatloaf brings a touch of homestyle cooking right to your kitchen. The mix of ground beef with herbs and spices, topped with a sweet and tangy sauce, makes it a delightful meal that’s both hearty and satisfying.

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
  1. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, beaten egg, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, and basil until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased skillet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Spread this mixture over the top of the meatloaf.
  4. Cover and cook on medium heat for 25-30 minutes, or until meatloaf is cooked through.
  5. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
