These Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites bring together the best of two breakfast favorites: cinnamon rolls and French toast. Ingredients:

  • 1 can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Powdered sugar (optional, for serving)
  • Maple syrup or icing from the cinnamon rolls (optional, for serving)

Directions:

  1. Open the can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls and separate the rolls. Cut each roll into quarters.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Dip each cinnamon roll piece into the egg mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.
  4. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and add the butter.
  5. Once the butter is melted and sizzling, add the dipped cinnamon roll pieces to the skillet.
  6. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
