Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ pounds beef sirloin, cut into 2-inch strips
  • Garlic powder to taste
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • ¼ cup hot water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 2 large bell peppers, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup chopped fresh cilantro

Directions:

  1. Sprinkle the beef strips with garlic powder. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and brown the beef strips. Transfer to a crockpot.
  2. Dissolve the bouillon cube in hot water and pour into the skillet. Stir in cornstarch until smooth. Add onion, bell peppers, and tomatoes to the skillet; cook for about 5 minutes.
  3. Transfer the vegetables to the crockpot. Add sugar, salt, pepper, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Cover and cook on High for 3-4 hours or on Low for 6-8 hours. Add chopped cilantro just before serving.
