Ingredients:
- 1 ½ pounds beef sirloin, cut into 2-inch strips
- Garlic powder to taste
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- ¼ cup hot water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- ½ cup chopped onion
- 2 large bell peppers, sliced into thin strips
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ cup chopped fresh cilantro
Directions:
- Sprinkle the beef strips with garlic powder. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and brown the beef strips. Transfer to a crockpot.
- Dissolve the bouillon cube in hot water and pour into the skillet. Stir in cornstarch until smooth. Add onion, bell peppers, and tomatoes to the skillet; cook for about 5 minutes.
- Transfer the vegetables to the crockpot. Add sugar, salt, pepper, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cover and cook on High for 3-4 hours or on Low for 6-8 hours. Add chopped cilantro just before serving.
