This Pumpkin Bread is a deliciously moist and warmly spiced treat, perfect for cozy fall mornings or afternoon tea. The combination of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger brings out the best of autumn flavors, while the pumpkin puree keeps the bread tender and rich.
Ingredients:
- 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- ½ tsp ground cloves
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- ⅓ cup water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine sugar and vegetable oil until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the pumpkin puree.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir just until combined. Stir in the water and vanilla extract.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 60–70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
